Angi – Office Administrator

As a practice administrator, I have various duties to keep our office running smoothly like backing up all team members, scheduling meetings, hiring new employees, and overseeing daily operations. I try to be open and honest with all of our patients because I want them to feel like part of our dental family. My husband, Clayton, and I have seven children and two dogs, so our house is always bustling. When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, riding my husband's Harley, hiking, and trying new recipes.

Laura – Restorative Scheduling Coordinator

I meet and greet our patients when they first come into the office, schedule their appointments, present their treatment plans, and verify their insurance benefits. I enjoy everything I do at the office, but the interaction with patients and the ability to be able to put a smile on their faces is what makes this job fun. Everyone on our team is dedicated to our patients. We take the time to make sure each patient understands all aspects of their dental care plan. Outside the office, I stay busy with my young niece and play soccer for a Hispanic co-ed league. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and use my skills to communicate the importance of oral health to the Spanish-speaking community.

Tammy – Financial Coordinator

As the financial coordinator, I schedule patient appointments, contact insurance companies, and present treatment options to the patients to help create a "game plan" for their treatment cycle. My goal is to create a strong, lasting relationship with patients built on trust and friendliness. I can't imagine working with more amazing doctors; they are two of the friendliest and most professional doctors I've ever worked with. They really know how to make the magic of smiles happen! I have a wonderful husband named Duane and a Boxer named Max. When I have free time I enjoy spending time outdoors, fishing, Zumba, crafting, and cooking.

Amy – Hygienist

I work with the doctors as a registered dental hygienist, placing fillings, taking X-rays and intra-oral photos, and performing thorough professional cleanings and periodontal therapy. I love educating my patients on oral health. They need to understand how important oral health is for the rest of their lifetime. It also gives me a chance to learn about them and figure out what makes them comfortable. I have a son named Jayme and a daughter named Brittany with my husband, Jay. We also have two Siberian Huskies and a cat. In my spare time, I enjoy scrapbooking, photography, and cake decorating.

Lindsay – Hygienist

I am a dental hygienist, working with patients as a co-therapist and resident periodontal disease treatment expert. I interact with patients in a friendly, non-lecturing way. We become friends with our patients, and everyone deserves to be treated gently and kindly. Every patient's needs are different, so I get excited to help them with their unique needs. My husband, Chris, and I recently had a little boy named Oscar, who's been keeping us very busy. With a husband who works in sports, we love watching Sounders soccer and The Evergreen State College Geoduck soccer and basketball teams.

Teresa – Dental Assistant

I am an expanded functions dental assistant, and I work chairside with the doctors during procedures and provide restorative procedures. I like to keep things light-hearted to keep our patients comfortable. It helps put them at ease and helps get them excited about their dental care. I love seeing them smile when they feel happy with their beautiful, healthy teeth. My husband, Mike, and I have a son, Loren, and a golden retriever, Emma. I love spending time with them. We like to go snowmobiling or play water sports. I also like decorating cakes and sugar cookies.

Vera – Dental Assistant

I have been in the dental field for over 15 years and am happy to have practiced ten of those years here at Meridian Dental Clinic. I have enjoyed working with great doctors and getting to know all of our patients. I have two wonderful sons and beautiful daughter. They keep me and my husband very busy. We enjoy spending our free time outdoors with family and church activities.

Rachel – Dental Assistant

As a dental assistant, I interact and communicate with the patients. My main focus is to be friendly and make my patients feel comfortable and open with me. My favorite part of my job is being able to see results. Working in the dental field you can work with patients for years. Seeing  the start to finish is an exciting process. I love working with the doctors here because they take care of their patients. The work they do here is by far the BEST I've seen. Here you become part of a family.

I have a dog named Buddy and enjoy anything outdoors related, sports- volleyball, soccer, golf, and snow boarding.

Mary Ann – Dental Assistant

Hello. Let me introduce myself.  My name is Mary Ann and I am proud to be a member of the MDC team where I provide assistance to Dr. Walker and Dr. Inaba.  I have been in the dental field for close to 20 years and continue to find joy in doing what I do.  Every day presents different opportunities.  Likewise, dentistry itself has been ever changing and staying abreast of these changes is exciting and interesting for me.

On a personal note, I am a mother of 3 beautiful children.  I have tried my hand at many activities during my free time.  These activities range from reading the latest best-sellers, to baking, and even trying my hand a knitting, but so far I've been passionate about kickboxing!  I also like to volunteer and have done volunteer activities that include childcare or feeding the homeless in Renton where I live.
