Dental Hygienists
Amy Styger
Amy is one of our dental hygienists. She began her dental career attending Pima Medical Institute and becoming an assistant back in 1995, working until 1999. Amy then went back to school to pursue dental hygiene. She graduated from the Pierce College Dental Hygiene Program with an associate degree in 2004 and started working for Meridian Dental Clinic in September 2004.
Amy is married with two teenagers. Her husband and son like to snowboard and surf and her daughter plays fast pitch softball year round. In her time away from the office, Amy likes to spend time with her family and her two Siberian huskies. Her favorite things are time at the beach, reading, watching movies and enjoying the outdoors. Amy’s joys with dentistry include making friendships over the years with her patients and providing quality care to improve her patients’ health.
Lindsay Thompson
Lindsay graduated from Eastern Washington University with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2006. She is very interested in the scientific aspect of dental hygiene, where the mouth is linked with the rest of the body. As a dental hygienist, Lindsay enjoys getting to know her patients and treats every patient as an individual, finding what works best for them to keep their mouth healthy.
Lindsay is married to her husband Chris, who she’s known for over 12 years. They recently moved into their first home in Auburn, along with their two “children” cats Xerox and Ditto. With Chris working in college athletics, they naturally enjoy attending various professional sporting events during the year.
Dental Assistants
Teresa Torgison
Teresa attended Renton Technical Community College where she received her Washington State Dental Assisting Certification. She has been in the dental field for 16 years and with Meridian Dental Clinic for the past 14 years, where she has been able to grow and expand her knowledge of dentistry.
Teresa lives in the Covington area with her husband and young son. They enjoy spending time with friends and family and going snowmobiling when the snow starts to fall.
Teresa feels privileged to be able to get to know each patient on a personal level and to share in their dental achievements.
Veronica Tourangeau
Veronica has been in the dental field for 11 years, and has worked with Dr. Walker for 7 1/2 of those years. She feels lucky to have a job she truly enjoys, and to know that she works with the best of the best.

Veronica got married in August of 2008. She and her husband don't have any kids yet, but plan to in the future. They love to ride their quads and play board games with their families.
Vera Bronitskiy
Vera has been in the dental field for 12 years and has practiced almost seven of those years at Meridian Dental Clinic, where she has enjoyed working with great doctors and getting to know all of the patients.
Vera and her husband have two wonderful sons and one beautiful young daughter that keep them very busy. They enjoy spending time outdoors with family and church activities.
Wendy Bilbrey
Wendy joined the MDC team in February of 2010, and has been in the dental field for over 25 years. She and her family live in the Kent-Covington area. Outside the workplace, Wendy enjoys scrapbooking, biking, scuba diving, golfing, cooking, traveling, and just having fun! Her family likes to travel, and every year they go to a different baseball park. Last year they visited Chicago to see the Cubs play at historic Wrigley Field.
Business Office
Karen Mongrain
Karen has worked for Meridian Dental Clinic for 30 years; the last ten years with Dr. Mark Walker as her boss. She and Pat live in Auburn. Karen has two sons, Benn 22 and Mike 19. They recently adopted a one-year-old Schipperke named Maggie. For fun they remodel houses and travel (to anywhere warm).
Joy Wines
Joy has been in the dental field for 30 years and has worked with both insurance companies and private practices. She was employed by Washington Dental Service for 13 years, then moved to Boise, Idaho and was employed by Delta Dental of Idaho for seven years. Joy has been with Meridian Dental Clinic for two years.
When she is not working Joy likes to spend her time reading, walking or getting together with family. She and her husband have three grown daughters, four grandchildren and a very spoiled pug!
Angi Scarsella
Angi originally joined the Meridian Dental Clinic team in 2004. She left to work at a specialty practice in 2006 and returned to the Meridian Dental Clinic team in 2009. Angi is thrilled to be back and the response from our patients has been amazing.
Angi’s goal is to create a lasting relationship with our patients, as well as work together as a team toward optimal oral health. Together we will strive to meet each patient’s individual needs in a caring and comfortable manner.
Angi has been in the Dental field for over 12years and has enjoyed working in general practice and specialty offices. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her 4 children (she has twins!) and her Fiancé Clayton. Angi enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, cooking and traveling.
You wear several hats in an office like this, but that is part of the excitement. It is our goal to treat patients as a member of our own family. It is important that every patient, new or long term, feel at ease and comfortable in our office. Dr. Walker and Dr. Inaba are fantastic dentists who genuinely care about the dental health of their patients. They expect a very professional and caring staff.
